About TMS & Brain Health

TMS & Brain Health is an innovative brain health center based in Santa Monica, California. We are proud to be the first clinic in Southern California to specialize in Express Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato™ Esketamine nasal spray, and neurofeedback. These cutting-edge techniques are scientifically proven to help patients with Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Insomnia. We have seen success in many patients who had not experienced adequate relief with traditional treatment, or who were bothered by the side-effects of medications.

Not Your Average Mental Health Center

First, a new patient will meet with a member from our psychiatric team for a comprehensive consultation in which the patient's candidacy for treatments will be determined. We take time to assess and understand the unique needs of each patient in order to create a personalized treatment plan based on their specific symptoms, past experiences, and goals. We accept most insurance plans, and our administrative team makes the claim process easy, guiding new patients through every step of the process and helping to obtain any prior authorization on their behalf. To speak with a representative about your options, call our office today or request an appointment using our online scheduling tool and a TMS & Brain Health representative will reach out to you.

Experts In Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses—similar to those of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine—to awaken parts of the brain that are underactive in people who suffer from depression. TMS is safe and clinically proven to improve the symptoms of depression in just 4 to 6 weeks. In the past, TMS sessions took up to 37.5 minutes. Express TMS uses a patterned frequency called intermittent theta burst stimulation, which mimics the naturally occurring rhythms of the brain that occur during neuroplasticity (aka learning). In Express TMS, your brain learns 10 times faster than with conventional TMS and your sessions only take 3 minutes.

Leaders In Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Ketamine infusions are a well-researched therapeutic modality that involve safely administering intravenous Ketamine at a sub-anesthetic dosage for a period of about 40 minutes. The advantage of Ketamine is that the antidepressant effects are often extremely rapid and effective, exhibiting response rates of up to 70% in just two weeks. We are considered to be one of the best Ketamine infusion clinics in Los Angeles due to our integrative Ketamine program, which involves clinical supervision, pre-infusion mindfulness, and post-infusion guidance. Our Ketamine program consists of 6 infusions over 2 weeks in order to quickly give you your life back.
