Job description
TMS & Brain Health Center is an innovative brain and mental health office focused on using
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to treat individuals with mood disorders–primarily
depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We use a combination of approaches including TMS, ketamine,
and neurofeedback to help people when traditional psychotherapy or medication has failed.
We launched in July 2019, but are growing quickly. As such, this position would be a great
opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help to develop and shape the company’s vision.

The TMS/ketamine technician will be the one who spends the most time with our patients, as
they will be applying the actual treatment to patients. The technician will also coordinate with
our psychiatric team in order to fine-tune treatment protocols. The technician should have a
background in neuroscience, psychology, or other related fields. The primary role of the
technician will be to administer TMS and ketamine nasal spray/Spravatio sessions. The
technician may also be trained in adjunct treatments such as biofeedback and neurofeedback

Responsibilities include:
Operating the TMS machine
Operating neurofeedback equipment
Mindfulness coaching during ketamine/Spravato sessions
Taking excellent notes during each treatment
Creating treatment reports
Literature review/writing about neuromodulation approaches to mood disorders

Skills Required:
Excellent writing skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Ability to interview patients in a non-judgemental way
Ability to lead clinical meetings
Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
Ability to make decisions autonomously
This posting is for a full-time position Monday-Friday with fully paid for health insurance. Pay
is commensurate with experience.
